Forbes Highest Paid Hip Hop Artists of 2021

The highest-earning hip-hop artists for 2021 have been revealed and it’s no surprise who’s on top. A list compiled by Forbes editor Zack O’Malley Greenberg shows the rankings as Jay Z ranked No.1 with $470 million earnings for the year, with his total earnings bringing his net worth to $1.5 billion after he sold portions of his Tidal streaming service and Armand de Brignac champagne. In second place was none other than Kanye West at $250 million, with most of Ye’s earnings coming from his Yeezy sneaker brand.

While most of the top 12 list were men, one female rapper was able to breakthrough at No. 11. Doja Cat was able to score her spot with $25 million in earnings after she scored major brand deals with Pepsi and Candy Crush. Check out the list below:
