Five suspects were arrested early Thursday after breaking into more than 100 vehicles in Monroe County. Starting around 4 a.m., police received numerous reports of vehicle larcenies.
Deputies located the suspects’ vehicle in Perinton and pursued it until it stopped near Green Ridge and Green Valley roads.
Drone and K-9 units were then used to search the area, and all suspects were found later that morning.
The group is believed to have targeted neighborhoods off Whitney Road in northern Perinton and off Route 441 in southern Penfield.
