Fire Safety Concerns Shut Down Buffalo Road Warehouse
Written by DJ Sight on August 14, 2026
A Monroe County judge has temporarily ordered businesses out of a Buffalo Road warehouse over fire-safety concerns.
The city says the building lacked adequate fire suppression and notification systems, creating added risk because it houses Pallet Express and an auto repair business.
Owner John Trickey says he has spent more than $100,000 on repairs and that the building has passed recent testing. He plans to challenge the order at a hearing August 25.
