Filmmaker Peter Daulton is documenting the history of America’s few remaining trolley parks, including Rochester’s Seabreeze, which began as a trolley destination in 1879 and is now the fourth-oldest amusement park in the U.S. Daulton, known for his work on Return of the Jedi and Back to the Future, is filming one trolley park a year as part of a PBS series debuting May 1. His project is a family effort, reflecting the family-run spirit of parks like Seabreeze.
