Pittsford’s Jeff and Rylie Wallace have turned a family bonding project into a viral success. Their card game “Kittens in Space,” which began as a fun submission to a game design competition, has raised over $44,000 on Kickstarter with more than 1,000 backers. The game’s concept evolved from pancake themes to intergalactic kittens and has captured wide interest. With publishing support from Dead Alive Games, the fast-paced game—set in 2199 where players must rescue cats from the Moon—will officially launch this week. The duo says the experience has been both surprising and rewarding.
