Euphoria Season 2 Viewership is up by 100%

The second season of “Euphoria” starring Zendaya has kicked off and it has been a dream for HBO. According to the shared data, over the first three installments of its second season, the show has nearly doubled its Season 1 per-episode viewership. The premier, which air on January 9th, has drawn 13.1 million viewers, with episodes two and three to follow in similar numbers. This past Sunday, Season 2, Episode 4 drew 3.2 million viewers across three linear airings on HBO and streams on HBO Max.

If you are not familiar with Euphoria, the show focuses on Rue (played by Zendaya) and the intertwining lives in the town of East Highland, who must find hope while balancing the pressures of love, loss, and addiction. In addition to Emmy winner Zendaya, Euphoria also stars Hunter Schafer, Nika King, Eric Dane, Angus Cloud, Jacob Elordi, Algee Smith, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Barbie Ferreira, Maude Apatow, Javon Walton, Dominic Fike, Storm Reid, Austin Abrams, with music scored by Labrinth.
