Enough is Enough; March For Our Lives Rally

No more and not again was the message at the March For Our Lives rallies Saturday.
“It”s unacceptable, intolerable and it needs to change,” said Kathy Richardson of the Brady Campaign Against Gun Violence.
It was a rally against gun violence happening around the nation and the world. In Rochester, an estimated 5,000 people went to Washington Square Park to make their voices heard and demand change.
“Gun violence is an epidemic across the U.S. it affects anybody and everybody,“ said Michal Frazier of Rochester.
One of the most deadliest mass school shootings in American history sparked the march. It happened in February in Parkland Florida where 17 people were killed. Saturday`s marchers were led by young people who made it clear that enough is enough.
“Youth are the key to the future so that`s why our voices should be heard,” said Frazier.
“Gun violence is something that has effected many lives in not only Rochester but across the country, said Rochester Mayor, Lovely Warren.Young people and young students have organized a great march here and I came out to listen to them and talk about the challenges they see in their community and to finally put an end to gun violence and to call on Washington to do something about it ”
March for Our Lives is just the start of what many hope to be a revolution. So that there will be no more Columbines, no more Sandy Hooks, no more Parkland shootings and no more having to feel unsafe in a place where guns don`t belong.
“I think people are saying loud and clear that enough is enough. We are entitled to policy, we are entitled to legislation that protects us. That defends our communities, our families from what is truly a preventable tragedy that is occurring every single day.”
