Empowering Women Luncheon Returns for 19th Year

The 19th Annual Empowering Women Luncheon, hosted by the YWCA of Rochester, will take place on October 1 at the Riverside Convention Center. The event is both a celebration and a catalyst for social change, supporting the YWCA’s mission to eliminate racism and empower women. Programs funded by the organization serve over 1,300 people annually. This year’s featured guest is trailblazing hip-hop artist MC Lyte, adding star power to the event. YWCA President and CEO Dr. Myra Henry highlighted how proceeds support critical community initiatives. Tickets remain available for those wishing to attend and support the cause.
