Drake Emotions Overcome Him During Kanye’s Performance At Larry Hoover Concert

Earlier this month, rappers Kanye West and Drake united for the Free Larry Hoover Benefit Concert at the Los Angeles Coliseum. While most were understandably emotional about the wide array of hits Ye performed combined with the impressive production of the event, it may come as a surprise to some that even Drake was spotted getting emotional during Ye’s set. Kanye West, Drake, and other members of the Chicago community, have been calling for the release of Larry Hoover, the former head of the Gangster Disciples who has been imprisoned for nearly 50 years. Their event description stated that the concert’s goal was to “raise awareness and support for Larry Hoover and the cause of prison and sentencing reform.” The show was also available via Amazon Prime.
