Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill hosted a youth football and speed camp at Monroe High School in Rochester, N.Y., on Saturday. The camp, part of a series visiting 15 cities in the U.S. and Canada, welcomed kids aged 6-17. Hill and his coaching staff conducted drills to improve speed and football skills, and he also offered life advice to the young athletes.
Hill emphasized the importance of giving back to the community and sharing his experiences. “Not many athletes are dedicating themselves to the future of football,” he said. “It’s really important to me and my family to come out here and travel the world and share some of the wisdom and some of the great things that I’ve learned playing football.”
During the camp, Hill participated in activities like tug-of-war, musical chairs, and one-on-one drills. He extended the camp’s schedule, staying until nearly 5:00 p.m. to sign autographs for all attendees. Afterward, he spent time with the Monroe varsity football team, who had just returned from an event in Buffalo, offering them advice and taking pictures.
Hill’s camp will continue its tour, with the next stop in the Albany area.
