Doja Cat, Lil Nas X, and Silk Sonic Take Over the Grammy Nominations

Yesterday, the full nominations for the 64th Grammy Awards were finally announced in a virtual rollout. The nominations featured some of the music industry’s leading voices. The biggest categories that everyone wants to know who will take home the Golden Gramophone are Album, Song, Record of the Year, and Best New Artist.

While we won’t know the winners for a bit, there are some clues as to who might take the win. Two singles that have been played more time than we can count are Silk Sonic’s, “Leave the Door Open,” and Doja Cat’s “Kiss Me More,” featuring SZA. Both sit atop the list for Record and Song of the Year. As for Album of the Year, nominations include Doja Cat’s Planet Her, Jon Batiste, H.E.R., Olivia Rodrigo, Ye (Kanye West), and Lil Nas X.
