Doctor Believes Lobsterman Story About Being Swallowed Alive By Whale To Be Fishy

Written by on June 14, 2021

There was a story going into the weekend about a Massachusetts lobsterman who claims he was swallowed alive by a whale and was able to escape.

For a couple of days the story picked up national attention but is now being shot down by the ER doctor that treated the man.
The man claims that he was inside the large whale between 20 to 40 seconds before being spat out.
The doctor that took care of the lobsterman isn’t buying the story and believes the man should’ve sustained more injuries and there no evidence of barotrauma from being so deep under water.
Other seamen also find this story to be a little fishy, no pun intended.
The man who was identified is Michael Packard was released from the Cape Cod hospital Friday afternoon just hours after the incident.
Do you think the man is telling the truth?
