DJ Khaled Reveals Newborn Son’s Name in Acceptance Speech

Written by on January 29, 2020

DJ Khaled has “another one.” Son, that is. Earlier this month, Khaled and his wife Nicole Tuck welcomed their second child into the world. He announced on social media that Nicole had given birth to a baby boy, but until now, the infant’s name was unknown to the public.

On Sunday night, the rapper received a Grammy award for the Best Rap/Sung Performance for the song “Higher,” which was a collaboration with John Legend and Nipsey Hussle. Khaled paid tribute to Hussle, who passed away from injuries he sustained in a shooting back in March. He also dedicated the award to hip-hop, then shouted out to his “beautiful queen,” which is none other than his wife, Nicole.

He then announced the couple had just added a new member to their family the week before. They named the baby Alam. In Arabic, the name Alam means “the world.” Khaled concluded his speech with a shout out to the couple’s other son, Asahd, who is three. He told him he loved him so much and that he would be home soon.

Knowing Khaled, this is just the beginning as far as what we will be seeing and hearing about Alam since the rapper has paid tribute to Asahd on his previous albums.
