‘Divorce in the Black’ Trailer: Meagan Good in Tyler Perry’s Prime Video Thriller

Amazon MGM Studios has unveiled the trailer for Tyler Perry’s upcoming thriller “Divorce in the Black,” starring Meagan Good and Cory Hardrict. The film will premiere globally on Prime Video on July 11. The story follows Ava, a young bank professional, who is heartbroken when her husband Dallas leaves their marriage. Determined to save their relationship, Ava’s resolve is tested when she discovers Dallas’ dark secrets, which have sabotaged both their marriage and her chance at true love. The cast includes Joseph Lee Anderson, Shannon Wallace, Taylor Polidore, Richard Lawson, and Debbi Morgan. Perry is the writer-director and also serves as a producer alongside Good, Angi Bones, Will Areu, and Dianne Ashford. Perry was recently featured in the documentary “Maxine’s Baby: The Tyler Perry Story,” which premiered on Prime Video in November 2023. This year, he also released “Mea Culpa,” a Netflix legal thriller starring Kelly Rowland.
