Disney+ paid tribute to Chadwick Boseman with a new opening to Black Panther. in honor of late actor’s birthday. Boseman died from colon cancer on August 28, 2020. He would have turned 44 years old on November 29th.

It’s been reported that filming on the original film’s eagerly-anticipated sequel would begin in July 2021. It also has been heavily speculated that Wright’s Shuri, T’Challa’s tech-savvy younger sister, will have a more prominent role going forward.
