DEC & Brighton Police Working Together After Fox Attacks
Written by Site Hub on April 28, 2023
Following a recent incident in which a rabid fox attacked six individuals in a Brighton community, the animal control division of the Brighton Police Department has partnered with the New York Department of Environmental Conservation. Law enforcement officials had to euthanize the rabid fox after the attacks. However, residents and victims are concerned that there may be other rabid animals in the vicinity. To address this concern, the town of Brighton conducts an annual rabies clinic, which enables individuals to safeguard their pets by providing them with vaccinations.
