Dawn Robinson’s Ex-Husband Steps Up With THIS Offer After She Admits To Living In Her Car

Former En Vogue singer Dawn Robinson sparked reactions online after revealing she’s been living in her car for nearly three years. Well, now, her ex-husband, Andre Allen, is reportedly stepping in to help. According to TMZ, he doesn’t want to see her struggle and is offering financial support with a job opportunity.

Ex-Husband Andre Allen Offers Dawn Robinson His Help

Andre Allen has stepped up with his offer not long after Dawn Robinson shocked everyone with her YouTube video reveal. Allen told TMZ “he sees Dawn as a great fit for Hilton Brands.” He also mentioned that he doesn’t want to see Dawn struggle or “die in poverty” like some of his other friends.

Andre also told TMZ he had previously offered Dawn a job with Hilton Brands before she chose to live in her car. He believes her charisma and personality could bring in “real money” in sales, a field he thinks would pay her more than the entertainment industry. He also mentioned that the position would still allow her to pursue music while providing free medical benefits and PTO.

As for himself, Andre is focused on spirituality, engaged to a new fiancée, and making more money now than he ever did in the music industry. For context, Robinson and Allen married in 2003 and split in 2010. TMZ adds that Andre Allen played a key role in Dawn’s brief reunion with En Vogue before it fell apart for good.

What Dawn Previously Said About Living In Her Car

Despite the outpouring of love and reactions Dawn received, the singer explained that she chose this lifestyle because it felt like the best option. She also said she’s felt a huge sense of freedom ever since she chose to embark on her journey, and she has no regrets.

“I felt free. I was so free. I felt like, ‘Wow, this is so different.’ I felt like I was on a camping trip, and I felt like this was the right thing to do. I don’t regret it,” she explained.

While opening up about her experience, Dawn made it clear she was not looking for sympathy. Instead, she shared her story as part of her journey toward healing and self-discovery.

“This is not like a ‘Poor Dawn.’ It’s not that. I’m learning about who I am; I’m learning myself as a person as a woman,” she added.

Slim Thug Reacts To Dawn’s Living Situation

Dawn Robinson’s ex-husband, Andre Allen, wasn’t the only one speaking on her situation. Slim Thug also weighed in on Instagram, calling out the fact that she shouldn’t be living like that after all her success. The Texas rapper made it clear — she should still be making money from all the hits she’s dropped.
