Dave Chappelle Used to Buy Weed from Idris Elba

Comedian Dave Chappelle gave a three-hour interview on Friday and spilled the tea on his celebrity friends. In the lengthy conversation with podcast host Joe Rogan, Chapelle said that British Actor Idris Elba was a real-life drug dealer.
Before the Emmy winning actor / DJ was crowned People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive, he worked as a security guard at Caroline’s Comedy Club on Broadway.
“I used to buy weed from him,” Chappelle admits.
That explains why Idris Elba was so believable in The Wire !
Last week, Dave Chappelle released his own podcast called The Midnight Miracle, which he hosts alongside Talib Kweli and Mos Def. According to Chappelle, Midnight Miracle will “change the way listeners think of what a podcast can be”.
