Danielle Ponder Wrote And Performs Theme Song For Upcoming Apple Tv+ Show

Danielle Ponder, an international R&B/soul artist, has been chosen to create and perform the theme song for the new Apple TV+ series “Manhunt.” Announced via X (previously Twitter), the series is a conspiracy thriller that delves into the pursuit of John Wilkes Booth following the assassination of Abraham Lincoln, aiming to illuminate aspects of this historical event that remain largely unexplored. “Manhunt” will premiere on March 15. Ponder, originally from Rochester and a former public defender in Monroe County, has made significant strides in her music career, touring globally and gracing stages at prominent festivals like Lollapalooza, as well as appearing on NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers. Her debut album, “Some of us are Brave,” was released in 2022.
