Monroe County District Attorney Sandra Doorley has asked a state court to remove Irondequoit Town Supervisor Andraé Evans from office.
This follows a town board referral and a police investigation into allegations of workplace sexual harassment and retaliation.
Evans was censured in February and denies the claims. The petition includes statements from four women and town officials.
Some staff have quit, and others feel uncomfortable, while Evans refuses to resign and plans to run for re-election.
