D-NICE EXPERIENCES ROCHESTER

So, I’m listening to “QLS Classic: D-Nice” by Questlove Supreme on Pandora and they start talking about D-Nice’s first concert experience. It was in Rochester, N.Y.
D-Nice opens up alot in this interview with Questlove and his crew. From the bubbly vibes and commentary, it was evident their sponsored beverage from Brother Love, aka Diddy, was beginning to take effect.
At about 42 minutes in, there was this point where D-Nice decided he was gonna let them in on this crazy story at the start of his career. He IMMEDIATELY goes in saying, “we had our first show in Rochester, WDKX”. BDP (Boogie Down Productions), who consisted of KRS-One, Scott La Rock and D-Nice, had no place to stay for the night so, they shacked up with the promoter of the event they were performing in. Apparently, the guy’s mom was highly spiritual and didn’t appreciate their street energies so, she came into the room they were in and sprinkled holy waters over them. Even after that, she STILL made them leave. The lady did NOT want them in her house!
