Just a friendly reminder as COVID-19 cases are on the rise in Monroe County make sure you are washing your hands! Not only washing your hands but masking up and when you are in large crowds especially indoors to try to social distance if you can.
Over the past weekend, there were a total of 852 new positive COVID-19 cases. Monroe County is averaging 418 new cases per day so far this week. Health officials say if numbers don’t come down some restrictions could come down. However, they said there will not be a complete shutdown.
So again make sure you are taking the basic precautions to protect yourself and your loved ones even if vaccinated. Also, if you do not feel well or have a fever stay home and make sure you get tested. If you test positive for COVID-19 stay your ass home even if you have received the vaccine!
Mask up, wash hands or use sanitizer if soap and water are not available. When you are around people you don’t know or in large crowds try to give yourself some distance between yourself and them.
Most of all work on maintaining your health. The healthier you are the better your body will work against viruses. If you want to get the vaccine or for information click here.
