Cool Sweep Locations 2020

2020 Cool Sweep season take place on Monday through Saturday from June 29 to Aug. 29, 2020. (Cool Sweeps do not take place on Sundays or on July 4). A Cool Sweep operation is triggered when the National Weather Service forecast calls for temperatures to reach or exceed 85 degrees.

Spray Parks and Spray Features: Noon to 6 p.m.

Genesee Valley Park Pool, 131 Elmwood Ave., noon to 7 p.m., Monday through Sunday.

Adams Street R-Center, 85 Adams St., noon to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday (Opens July 6)

Trenton and Pamela Jackson R-Center, 485 N. Clinton Ave., noon to 6:30 p.m.. Monday through Friday (Opens July 6)

Heat Emergency

When temperatures are forecasted to be 90 degrees and above, a the David F. Gantt R-Center, 700 North St., will be opened as an Emergency Cooling Center from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
