Construction Planned for ICE Holding Cells at Rochester Federal Building

Construction of ICE holding cells at the Kenneth B. Keating Federal Building in downtown Rochester could begin May 23, according to Rep. Joe Morelle. 

The project includes detention areas, fencing and added security measures. Morelle, along with Sens. Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand, has criticized the plan and urged federal officials to stop it.
