Community Justice Initiative Gives Press Conference On Police Behavior During Protests

The Community Justice Initiative gave a press conference on Sunday, September 6 in regards to the methods that the Rochester Police Department used against people protesting for Daniel Prude.
The conference was held around Laura Street and E. Main Street in the City of Rochester.
Anthony Hall, the spokesperson for CJI used the conference to call for the resignation of Rochester’s Mayor Lovely Warren and the Chief of Police, La’Ron Singleterry.
“This can not go on,” Hall said. “This is about liberation.”
Letitia Astacio was in attendance, as well.
“There will be no justice if the police are the perpetrators,” Astacio said.
