Colman Domingo to Receive Spotlight Award Again at Palm Springs Film Festival

Colman Domingo will be honored with the Spotlight Award for actor at the Palm Springs International Film Awards for the second consecutive year. The award ceremony, part of the Palm Springs International Film Festival running from Jan. 2-13, will take place on Jan. 3. Domingo is recognized for his powerful portrayal of Divine G in A24’s Sing Sing, a story about a wrongfully convicted man who finds purpose through prison theater. Festival Chairman Nachhattar Singh Chandi praised Domingo’s raw, captivating performance in the film, which he also executive produced.
