College, Career, & Education Expo At Edison Tech (Thursday)

Edison Career and Technology High School is hosting its fifth annual college, career, and technical education expo on Thursday. The event gives students and families the opportunity to connect with colleges, career programs, and Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways. They can meet college representatives, explore job openings and post-secondary options, and network with community members. Parents will also get to meet Edison teachers, who will showcase what students are learning. The expo starts at 5 p.m. and will be held at the Edison Tech High School. Plus, the United States Postal Service is recruiting in Orleans County. A job fair on Thursday runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Orleans County YMCA on Pearl Street in Medina. USPS personnel will be at the fair to answer questions on open positions. You can see job openings and apply here. You must be 18 years or older to apply and be willing to work weekends and holidays. City Carrier Assistants make $20.73 per hour and Rural Carrier Associates make $20.85 per hour.
