Civil Rights Museum on Wheels Visits Rochester

Over this past weekend, the Civil Rights Museum on Wheels was at Zion Church on Clarissa Street. The museum’s bus is a GMC TDH transit bus that was built in 1951, which is also the exact make and model of the bus Rosa Parks rode on the day she refused to give up her seat. The community was welcomed to visit the museum and watch history come alive as local actors portrayed prominent historical figures.
