Ciara Added To The Cast Of “The Color Purple” Movie Musical

The upcoming The Color Purple movie musical, starring Fantasia Barrino, has just added Ciara to the cast. Produced by Steven Spielberg and Oprah Winfrey, the cast will also feature Taraji P. Henson, Colman Domingo, Danielle Brooks, Corey Hawkins, Louis Gossett Jr., David Alan Grier and H.E.R. The Little Mermaid star Halle Bailey will play the younger version of Ciara’s character who will play Nettie. The younger sister of Celie, Entertainment Weekly reported.
