Changes Could Be Coming To California Workforce

A change could be coming to the workforce in California for large companies. The bill is being introduced to California state assembly and wants to make it official for companies with 500 employees or more to make a 32 hour work week instead of 40 hours. Any employees that would work over 32 hours in a paid period will be paid time and a half. The bill would not cover workers who are covered by a collective bargaining agreement.
