Chance The Rapper, Common, Quavo & Jidenna set to play in the NBA Celebrity All-Star Game

Several hip-hop artists have been confirmed to take part in the NBA Celebrity All-Star Game at the Wintrust Arena on February 14. Chance The Rapper, Quavo, Common and Jidenna will battle it out under coaches Michael Wilbon and Stephen A. Smith. Actor Jesse Williams will serve as Wilbon’s assistant coach, while Guy Fieri will be Smith’s.

Joining Common’s “home” team will be Jidenna, Bad Bunny, Hannibal Burress, and Quentin Richardson, while Chance will be joined by Quavo, Ronnie 2K and Darius Miles, among others. A number of musicians, athletes, and influencers are set to compete as well, including stars of the Women’s National Basketball Association: A’ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces and Chelsea Gray of the Los Angeles Sparks.

Broadcaster Mark Jones is set to return as the play-by-play announcer. Cassidy Hubbarth will report courtside and Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg and WNBA superstar Chiney Ogwumike will provide commentary.

The NBA Celebrity All-Star Game is just one event scheduled over the weekend-long festivities. During the 2020 NBA All-Star Game on February 16, Chance is also expected to perform at the halftime show.
