Chadwick Boseman Dies of Cancer at age 43

Our hearts are so heavy right now.
The news comes so suddenly to us, but Chadwick was fighting a battle with colon cancer for four years. You never truly know what someone is going through.
The Hollywood star has touched the lives of millions in his iconic role as the Black Panther, our superhero. An extremely talented young creative that also played some of the most influential Black men in history including James Brown (Get On Up) , Jackie Robinson (42), Thurgood Marshall (Marshall), and more.
“A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all, and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much,” his family said in the statement. “From Marshall to Da 5 Bloods, August Wilson’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and several more- all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy. It was the honor of his career to bring King T’Challa to life in Black Panther.”
