Celebrities Stand With Megan Thee Stallion

After Megan Thee Stallion went live on instagram and accused Tory Lanez of shooting her and then lying about it, she said that she’s receiving backlash from Lanez’s employees and supporters.
In her video, she said:
“You shot me. And you got your publicist and your people going to these blogs lying… Stop lying. Why lie? I don’t understand.”
Stallion didn’t call Lanez out immediately after the shooting, but once she did celebrities came to her side to back her up and suggest the incident as another example of Black women protecting Black men — when they aren’t doing the same.
Actor Michale B. Jordan tweeted in her defense, saying:
“Meg I admire your courage and applaud you for speaking up. We must Support Black Women, Protect Black Women, and Believe Black Women.”
Actress Halle Berry chimed in as well, tweeting:
“Peace. Protection. Respect. For ALL Black Women. ALWAYS. @theestallion, we stand with you.”
Lanez has not commented publicly on the accusation but there is an ongoing investigation being conducted by LAPD.
