Cecilia’s Place officially opened in Rochester on May 10th, 2024, marking a significant step forward in addressing homelessness in the area. Located in the historic Polvino building in Central Park, this new facility is part of the mission-driven efforts of person-centered housing options, which aim to reduce homelessness and rebuild lives. Charlie Albanese, CEO and co-founder, noted the rising homelessness in the community and emphasized that although Cecilia’s Place only contains 15 units, it represents an essential contribution to housing solutions for those in need.
