CDC Updates Gudiance After Delta Requests Change In Isolation Length
Written by Andre on January 4, 2022
You may be wondering what’s up with the new CDC guidance when it comes to isolation protocol, I know I am. So I did a little bit of research and found an article 13WHAM.com that might explain the change.
According to the news report, the CDC guidance came a few days after Delta Air Lines requested for them to change the guidance. Delta Air sent a letter to the CDC Director asking for the isolation guidance to be changed from 10 days to 5 days for people testing positive for COVID-19. The company said the reason they are asking for the change is the current guidance “may significantly impact our workforce and operations.”
This is all interesting I must say… I thought we were following the science and not the money because this is what this feels like.
