Cardi B Calls Off Release Of Dolls Amid Production Delays

Written by on December 21, 2021

Earlier this year, rapper Cardi B announced her line of dolls that replicate her looks. Due to an ongoing production issue, Cardi B has canceled the release of her dolls. A representative for Cardi stated that the delays stem from COVID-related issues, as well as Cardi’s overall disliking of the product’s quality.

Cardi’s initial release of the doll was back in March to celebrate Women’s Month; “Inspired by me. Created by me. Designed by me.” The doll’s cost was $35 dollars and was originally scheduled for delivery back in October. While the website still states that the dolls are expected to ship in October, TMZ reported that Cardi B has asked Real Women Are to refund all preorders.
