The wildfires in Southern California are getting worse according to experts, but some residents are being told it’s safe to go back home.
The two major, out-of-control wildfires are the Silverado fire near Irvine and the Blue Ridge Fire to the north.
Together, they’ve burned almost 30,000 acres and damaged 10 homes.
At first, more than 80,000 people were told to evacuate, but that number has decreased by around 20,000, as the Irvine area is becoming safer.
