Buffalo stand up! Griselda is waking up to a new wave of national attention after debuting on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon Thursday night.

The biggest thing in hip-hop to come out of Western New York in recent years is the trio of Conway, Westside Gunn and Benny the Butcher, collectively known as Shady Record’s own Griselda.

Hip Hop Giants are sharing their love and appreciation for the group’s new album WWCD.

Quest Love of the legendary Roots crew posted this clip of Griselda’s video for Dr. Birds on Instagram and Black Thought reposted it on his personal IG Story.

Even Ruff Rider’s thought provoking rapper Quadir Lateef shared a screenshot of the performance on Facebook.

The temptation to go overboard & scream my fandom on the music of @Westsidegunn & @whoisconway & @getbenny (@griseldarecords) is a Classic ahmir move 1) say a grand hyperbolic statement and watch yall brawl & hem & haw in the comments. 2) shrug it off—- #Griselda isn’t the second coming of Wu or the return to grimey loop based east coast New YAWK hip hop. Imo—it just is what it is. DOPE. Hip hop should rule break. They don’t need no hooks. They don’t wrap it in a bow with 16 bars. Sometimes there are NO drums. It’s uncomfortable to listen to. It’s numbing. Your parents SHOULD be worried. The loops are all over the place. ——-it’s everything hip hop IS. I’m SO glad they chose @fallontonight to make their debut. Trust me, this is the MOST toned down co-sign I could ever give. Don’t miss em!
