Buffalo Bills fans attending this week’s training camp will get the opportunity to learn a potentially life-saving ability in just a few minutes.
UR Medicine, in conjunction with the American Heart Association, unveiled a portable hands-only CPR training module on Monday. This machine provides step-by-step instructions for performing CPR, allowing individuals to practice chest compressions and receive instant feedback.
The equipment will be featured at community events, offering the general public an opportunity to master CPR. Its initial appearance will be this Wednesday, during the inaugural day of Bills camp at St. John Fisher University. The mobile CPR station is a pioneer in New York State, being the first of its kind, and it’s only the second to be launched in the nation.
It will be accessible during every public practice at the training camp until August 10.
