Brighton Eatery Partners with ‘Hot Ones’ for Spicy Chicken Wing Challenge

MicGinny’s on the River in Brighton is turning up the heat—literally. The local favorite has teamed up with the hit talk show Hot Ones to offer customers a chance to try the show’s famously fiery sauces from the comfort of home.

Hosted by Sean Evans, Hot Ones challenges celebrities to answer questions while eating wings doused in increasingly spicy sauces. Now, Western New Yorkers can take on the challenge themselves thanks to MicGinny’s exclusive partnership—the only regional spot chosen so far.

Owner Sal Panella says the collaboration was a natural fit. “We sell a lot of wings, and Hot Ones has a great reputation,” he shared. The wings will be available for takeout only through delivery apps like Uber Eats, DoorDash, and Grubhub.

Customers can sample the sauces without committing to a full $120 kit—just under $20 gets you a fiery flight to try at home.
