Written by Site Hub on January 20, 2024
BrightFarms has issued a recall of their spinach and salad kits due to possible contamination with listeria monocytogenes. This action was taken following a positive test for listeria in a routine sample by Element Farms, their supplier.
The products in question have been distributed across seven states: Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia. In New York specifically, they are available at Wegmans stores. As of now, there have been no reported cases of illness linked to this recall.
