Brian Green to Be Sworn in as Monroe County District Attorney

Brian Green will be formally sworn in as Monroe County’s new district attorney on Tuesday, Sept. 30.

He was appointed by Governor Kathy Hochul following the retirement of Sandra Doorley, who stepped down months after a viral confrontation with police.

Green brings a decade of experience in the district attorney’s office and has recently served as a judge in Irondequoit and as senior deputy county attorney.
