Black Militia Patrols Home of Suspect Accused of Killing Georgia Jogger

One February day a 25-year-old black man went for a jog in a Georgia neighborhood and was hunted down and killed by two white men. One May day a group of armed black men and women patrolled the same Georgia neighborhood, daring police or anyone else to meet them with the same force.
As you can see in this viral video, no cop had the nerve to approach the armed militia.
Gregory McMichael is one of the men accused of being involved in the fatal shooting of Ahmaud Arbery as he went out for his usual run. On Saturday, McMichael’s Brunswick home was the gathering place for the Panther Special Operations Command to seek justice for Ahmaud “by any means necessary.”

“You don’t win wars by marching and protesting you win wars by fighting back.”
Attorney and VP of the NAACP Gerald Grigg’s explained that the strong display of solidarity was completely legal.
“When you see a person get shot with a shotgun three times that’s something triggering about that. It evokes a lot of images from the past with us, Emmett Till or Trayvon Martin,” said Griggs.
“Everything that was happening was legal. We have a First ,Amendment right to protest, we have a Second Amendment right to bear arms, and in the state we have open carry in most places.”
