Biden’s Federal Worker Vaccine Mandate Blocked By Federal Court

Yesterday, a federal court in Texas blocked the Biden administration’s vaccine requirement for federal workers. The Biden administration’s mandate has been set in place since November and it is expected that they will appeal this block. The mandate first comes from back in September, when President Biden announced that he would require the federal workforce of over 3.5 million people to be vaccinated unless they had a medical or religious exemption. As of Friday, according to White House press secretary Jen Psaki, 98% of federal workers are vaccinated. According to a report by Reuters, the U.S. Justice Department said it would appeal the ruling.
