Team Bernie Sanders are turning his funny meme moment into a charitable opportunity. The Vermont Congressman and former U.S. Democratic Presidency candidate made headlines after his photo went viral on social media and was turned into different memes.
Bernie’s team announced that sweatshirts of Bernie sitting in the chair with his mittens will be on sale for $45 and 100% of the profits will go to Meals on Wheels Vermont. The sweatshirt seems to be as popular as the meme, it’s currently sold out “due to overwhelming demand,” according to the campaign store website.
Age Well, the largest provider of Meals on Wheels in Vermont, said on Twitter it’s “BLOWN AWAY by the support for our Meals on Wheels program” from the sweatshirt sales. To Read More Click Here
