Assemblymen Demond Meeks & Harry Bronson Help Get $2 Million In State Funding For Double Up Food Bucks

Assemblyman Demond Meeks and Assemblyman Harry Bronson will join Field & Fork Network
and Foodlink to announce state funding totaling $2 million for Double Up Food Bucks NY to expand access to fresh fruits and vegetables for low-income residents. Double Up Food Bucks NY is a nutrition incentive program that matches SNAP funds $1 for $1, up to $20 per day, to purchase local fresh fruits and vegetables. Double Up Food Bucks NY has partnered with Foodlink since 2016 and operates at 64 Curbside Market locations. The NYS funding will allow the program to expand into traditional grocery stores.
