Area Libraries Offering Resources To Help With Online Learning

Written by on September 4, 2020

Monroe Libraries are getting set up to give children a helping hand this September as the school year begins.

The library system is also reaching out to teachers as well, making sure they have extra help by providing games, tutors, supplies and other resources to assist with the transition to online learning,

Children’s Services Consultant with Monroe County Systems Tonia Burton said:
“I mean of course to do some in person things soon, but we’re not going to do anything until we know our staff and of course all the families will be safe.”
Participating locations will also have activity bags for children and meals available.
