Residents of Jonathan Child Apartments were shocked to hear their assisted living program is closing. The nonprofit says it can’t afford to keep it open.
Similar programs have recently shut down, and another in Fairport will close too.
Staff will be affected, and residents are unsure where they’ll go next.
