The funding aims to revitalize the community by fostering STEM skills among local youth, reminiscent of Rochester’s industrial heyday with Kodak and Xerox. Lyndsay Compitello of RMSC hopes to empower Rochester’s youth to pursue STEM careers.

Shirley Tarabochia, General Manager of Amazon Warehouse ROC 1, expressed the company’s commitment to the community, highlighting the donation as a step towards becoming the best local employer. Additionally, RMSC will introduce Amazon Afternoon Days, offering free monthly access to the museum.
