The musical “Hell’s Kitchen,” inspired by the music of Alicia Keys, is moving from its highly successful Off-Broadway performances to Shubert Theater on Broadway in 2024.
As reported, this production, directed by Michael Greif, will start its preview shows at the new location on March 28, leading up to its grand opening night on April 20. The show draws creative influence from the work of Kristoffer Diaz and features a selection of Keys’ popular songs, such as “You Don’t Know My Name,” “Fallin’,” “If I Ain’t Got You,” “No One,” and “Empire State of Mind.”
In “Hell’s Kitchen,” the audience will see a talented cast, including Meleah Joi Moon portraying the character Ali, inspired by Keys’, and Shoshana Bean as her mother, Jersey. The full cast will be revealed soon. The musical initially debuted at the Public Theater on October 24 and will continue its Off-Broadway run until January 14.
